Heather's photography is published by In Defense of Animals to promote a campaign to relocate prairie dogs in danger of lethal management in Centennial Colorado.  Heather is proud that her images helped save these animals.
These images were taken at a development site in Centennial Colorado, where the animals were in extreme danger of being bulldozed during preparation of a site for development.  Enough awareness was generated to get these animals relocated to a site in Pueblo, Colorado.  You can read more about this on my blog.
